Shopping for our New Suite in Sarasota

To warm up, we drove down to Saint Augustine, Florida, to visit our friend Richard, and then south west to Sarasota, to stay with Carol and Chuck, all retired innkeepers from Chincoteague! In Sarasota, we dragged our friends around Lowe’s and Home Depot, where we spent many hours choosing all the good stuff we needed for a new bathroom at the Inn. Luckily, we managed to keep on schedule and our new Suite, the Wetherby, was opened to our first guests on Memorial Day Weekend. It’s on the first floor, convenient for our guests who don’t want to climb stairs, and has a very spacious sitting room and bedroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, and that’s really lovely too.
